Meet Sally, Chiro at Norwest
Hi I'm Sally!
I’ve personally experienced debilitating back pain and wondered how long it would take to return to sport and training pain free. After finding relief through chiropractic care and manual therapy, I strive to provide that same relief for my patients.
Outside of the clinic, I lead an active lifestyle, training and competing in shot put and discus. I’ve been involved in the sport since I was 8 years old and have represented Australia on multiple occasions during my junior career. My next goal is to make the open Australian team. I also hold a black belt in Taekwondo and I'm working towards my second Dan.
When I’m not training, I love spending time with family and friends and enjoy discovering new matcha spots!

“My personal patient promise is I will see you as an individual looking at the factors in your life that are affecting YOU. I will treat you as a person not as your condition.”
What does inspiring and empowering your potential mean to you?
For me it’s about helping others gain the confidence and understanding that they can achieve goals that they set for themselves. My role is to provide people with the tools to reach their goals, whether through treatment, exercises, advice and/or encouragement to do this.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GET INTO CHIROPRACTIC?
Growing up playing sports I always wanted to do something health related, I wanted to help people feel their best. I then visited the chiropractor with my sister and really enjoyed the holistic view of health that came with it.
What is the one thing if you could time travel, you would want to tell your 10-year-old self?
Dux of Final Year Masters - mainly because it is a testament to hard work. If you dedicate yourself to something you enjoy and put in the effort, the results will speak for themselves.
IF THEY MADE A MOVIE ABOUT YOU, WHO WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY YOU?
Zendaya
WHAT TYPES OF PATIENTS DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITH THE MOST AND WHY?
I don’t yet have a favourite type of patient to treat.
However, I love to work with people who want to get better! Athletes and weekend warriors often have a drive to get back to what they enjoy to do, their elected sport or activity, which sometimes make them a more compliant patient (with rehab and their active recovery).
That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy treating the average person. I find it interesting and enjoyable to see what avenues of life others have taken and are in through getting to know patients.
SHOUTOUT TO ONE PERSON WHO HAS INSPIRED YOU AND WHY.
My sister, she took me to the chiropractor for the first time, if it wasn’t for her I would not have been exposed to the profession!
WHAT IS THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED?
Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s problems. It takes away today's peace.
